So search engine marketing is combination of three main elements:-
Pay Per Click Advertising / PPC :- Through Pay Per Click you try to appear on SEARCH ENGINE RESULT PAGES (SERP) by bidding on particular keywords.
Search Engine Optimisation / SEO :- Search Engine Optimisation or SEO is the strategy followed to appear in the search engine through organic search. Multiple methods are followed to achieve the same like Off Page SEO, On Page SEO, Link Building, Content. Through SEO you try to appear in the search engine through organic search.
Social Media Marketing / SMM :- Social Media Marketing is using social media tools for company promotion. Although the terms PPC and SEO are more common but SMM is also becoming common day-by-day. SMM is also the integral part of SEM in which the company’s brand is exploited through social media strategy like facebook, instagram, linkedin , twitter, pinterest etc.
